A walk through the vines

Explore & Taste

We've put together our favourite local places across three things we love: vineyard tours and tastings — Helen at Château de Claribès is a firm favourite, with her organic wines and warm welcome — restaurants worth lingering in, and the best ways to explore the area on foot, by bike, or by kayak.

The Chemin de Compostelle passes our front door — walk it, or grab one of our free e-bikes and go further. The Saturday market in Sainte-Foy-la-Grande is one of the best in France. And if you're here on a Thursday evening in summer, the Night Market is not to be missed.
